Quick Fish Extender - Door Hanger

I have all my gifts done but I totally forgot to order/make something for our door. Anyone have any quick ideas for me to buy or make. Note: I am somewhat challenged in the craft dept (so it has to be easy)

Just get a canvas bag and decorate it with Disney pics (iron ons, maybe). That works. I've see a plastic grocery bag used as a FE.

You just need something to hold the gifts, doesn't have to be really craft-y or fancy.

If you have an Ikea near you or want to order online there's an organizer that we used to make ours. Here's a thread about it. Mine is on the 4th page. Dh did a great job and didn't take long to make at all.

I can't seem to find it online. I swore I saw it a few weeks ago when I was in the store so maybe check there if you have one.

I've seen others post pictures of Walmart wall organizers (in the baby section) that they've customized. Do a search on here and you should find quite a few "quick" examples! Good luck!

On one cruise I saw that someone had taken a pair of kid's shorts, stitched the legs closed, put a loop on the top and hung that up.

I am not very crafty but I mad ours easily. Bought felt and backing in Michael's along with ribbon with Mickey heads (which I used for the border). Then I bought little canvas bags, cut off the handles and hot glued them on the felt (these were the pockets). I attached a craft stick along the top and ran a ribbon from end to end to hang on the door. I also bought Disney patches and glued them on the pockets. It came out much better than I expected and worked great! Took me a couple of hours (again, I am not very crafty)

How about a reusable shopping bag? I have a Frozen one that came from Target (I think). Really, anything that fits over the "fish" and holds your gifts will work.

That hanging organizer looks a little wide. It's 14". I'm not sure, but it might be a little too wide.

Oh no....I didn't even think about that. I did find another one on Amazon and it might work better.....I think it is only 7.5 inches wide and they can do one day shipping...it is even cheaper than the other one I ordered.

I like using a tote bag. The gifts aren't out in the open as they are with the pocket type. If they are down inside a bag they are out of sight and less likely to go missing, IMHO.

That one should work as far as the width goes. I think ours is between 8" and 9" wide.

For our last cruise I bought the little canvas bags at the craft store and some printable iron on paper. I printed off a character for each bag along with names and ironed them on. Then I safety pinned the back of the bags together and used ribbon to hang it. It was super easy, and then came apart when we got home so we could re purpose the bags.
