Quick fastpass question

Is it possible to get a fastpass off a card that hasn't been used to gain entry into the park? For example, lets say we are visiting HS in the afternoon, and mid morning I enter the park on my own but armed with 4 passes. Am I allowed to get 4 fastpasses?

One of the most commonly asked questions here on the Dis.

The answer is no. If the ticket has not been scanned for that park on that day, you will not be able to get a fastpass with it.

No you can't - the card must be registered through the entrance turnstyle before it will print a fast pass.

Thank you both for the fast answer. It was an idea that just popped into my head whilst putting my itinerary together.

Not only can't you do that, but it can take some time for it to realize what park you are in if you hop. We want to AK one day, and after 15 minutes thought it was too crowded and left to go to MK. When we got there we couldn't get FPs for a while because it still thought we are at AK. I forgot what the CMs told us, but I do know there is a certain amount of time from the first park you enter.

A few years back I tried that obviously not having read DISboards throughly enough. Messed up tickets for fast passes after the others came into the park - had to get the FP CMs to issue manually. I could have had the park ticket reissued or recoded but it was our last day so didn't bother.

Sounds more like a glitch than how it operates normally. Experiments have shown that the FP systems are not linked between parks...
