Quick DVC AP Question

We are arriving at BLT toward the end of December. My wife and I are both new DVC members. Can I go to MK Guest Services and buy 2 $399 DVC PAPs for us without my wife present? Or does she have to be there to show her member card/ID? Same question for TIW, in case we decide to get that as well.

I think you both need to be there for the APs.

For the TIW, if you're just buying the one (and not the spouse card), only the one whose name it will be in needs to be there. And you only need to buy the spouse card if you guys will be splitting up often and dining without the other one there.

She needs to be there with her picture ID to pick up the AP.

I was just there two weeks ago. I upgraded our Park Hopper tickets to PAPs for my whole family and nobody had to be with me, my wife included. I showed our DVC membership card and got our 5 PAP's.

she won't need to be there if you buy a PAP voucher.
she should need to be there to buy an activated pass, or to activate the voucher, tho it appears some have been able to do otherwise.
