I confirmed our room with DLH and they said we would have a room with a sofa bed, so I am hopeful it is a bit larger than normal. We will have dd15 months with us, and suddenly we are very nervous about her sleeping in the same room as us since she is not used that and since she is tall and can stand up, we picture her standing in her pack n play and seeing us in our beds...so, my question is -- is there room in the vanity area of the room to put the pack n play, and it is out of view of the rest of the room? We are so spoiled now by DVC and Marriott 2BR villas that DH and I are feeling panicked about one hotel room!

Some of the rooms have a separate vanity area some have a bathroom that is just an all in one set up (sink, toilet, tub/shower all in one enclosed room). The ones with the separate vanity area might be big enough for a pack n play but I cannot be sure! In that set up the closet is in that same area so there are mirrored doors right there. I have had a couple of rooms where there was sort of a hallway from the door into the room. If you got one of those, you might be able to put a pack n play in that area. With three towers, there are a variety of room set ups. What I can tell you is how dh and I handled this same dilemma years ago with our son. For about a week before the trip, we put ds in a pack n play in our room. That way, by the time the vacation hit, he was used to sleeping with us in the same room. We didn't do that with dd who came along a couple of years later. I still remember the first night on our first vacation with her, she stood and stared at us or cried in her pack n play most of the first night. Then she finally just fell where she stood and was basically passed out! The following nights were fine. The DLH rooms are good sized probably about like the rooms in the poly or CR. But they are still a standard hotel room in the end.

Good luck, its always a challenge when you travel with a baby or toddler!
