We were at WDW from May 9-12 and had some really good meals.

We stayed at the Grand Floridian so our first experience was at Gasparilla's Grill for lunch. I had the roast beef sandwich and DH had the grilled chicken with Gouda sandwich. We shared them. Both were very good and very fresh. I really liked the potato chips. The cast members were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast at Gasparillas is the basic food court breakfast so nothing out of the ordinary. I usually get the yogurt parfait and DH gets one of the breakfast sandwiches. We also had a dinner here. I had the chicken and mushroom flatbread and DH had the pepperoni and sausage flatbread. Both were good and quick which we needed at that point. We had just gotten back from a 96 degree day at Epcot. We were hot and tired so sitting in a cool place with pizza worked well for us.

Grand Floridian Café: I read varying reviews of GFC. We loved it. We had dinner here the first night. DH devoured the shrimp and grits dinner. He raved about it. He is still raving about it. I had the pan roasted chicken which was tender and very tasty. We got dessert of course. The chocolate timbale is so good with lots of chocolate. It was the best dessert I had all trip. DH had the fruit tart which was good, but not outstanding.
We also had breakfast at GFC. DH had the citrus pancakes and I had the French toast. I could not believe all the food on the plates when they placed them in front of us. There was no way we were eating all that. Both meals were delicious. It was one of the best breakfasts we have had at WDW. We wanted to be able to walk around MK so left a lot on the plates. The wait staff is really good and knowledgeable.

Pecos Bills: We went here last year and had a fairly nice dinner. This year, not so much. The wait to order was long and disorderly. We had the nachos and fajitas. They were just OK. The nachos were bit mushy and the chicken and beef with the fajitas needed a bit more flavor. The noise level seemed much higher than last year.

Columbia Harbour House: We love this place and were not disappointed this year. I always get the tuna sandwich and cole slaw. DH got the tuna sandwich and clam chowder. All was really good. For quick service we feel that it is one of the best.

Restaurant Marrakesh at Morocco: This lunch was a nice surprise. We weren't expecting a lot. The food is really good. I had the coucous and chicken. It was good but I was expecting boneless chicken for some reason and it wasn't. DH started with the Harira Soup which was really tasty. He got the M'Rouzia Fassi Coucous. I liked that better than my chicken coucous. While mine was good, loved the coucous, I still would have preferred boneless chicken. Next time I will get the chicken kabobs. The wait staff is very attentive. The atmosphere is cool and quiet. And, the belly dancer was nice entertainment. At least that is what DH tells me! :)

Jungle Navigation Company Skipper Canteen: We really liked this restaurant. It is on a must do again list. We went for lunch. DH got the hot and sour soup which we shared. That was so good. The bread service was interesting. The bread was a bit dry but the dipping sauce helped. DH ordered the Skip's Beefy baked pasta. It was kind of like baked ziti layers with beef and a sauce. DH was a big fan of this meal. I ordered the Tastes like chicken because it is. The chicken was tender and really good. I would order it again. For dessert we had the Kungaloosh. Yummy!

We went to 2 of the booths at Epcot. We started in England. I had the lemon scone and DH had the salmon tart which I forget the name of. Both were very good. The scone was wonderful. We went to France and had the onion tart and a macaroon along with the grey goose slush. All I can say is yummy, yummy.

Highway in the sky dining: We did this experience and had a great time. The food and drinks were varied and delicious. We had pea soup at the Wave, 3 appetizers at the Polynesian, cheese and meat board at the tea room at GF,and beef short ribs and halibut at Citricos. The drinks were good too. We had one drink at The Wave which I think was a Bay Lake Sunset. At the Polynesian were had a mai tai, my favorite. We had champagne with the cheese and wine with dinner. We met people from all over the country and some from our area. The desserts were just OK. It was an orange cake and a chocolate mousse type cake. We loved seeing the first Happily Ever After show from the Contemporary which has nothing to do with food I know but it was fun.

Now on to planning next years places to eat. Always looking for ideas especially for Disney Springs.
