I may do a thorough report later, although I don't have a ton of food porn (just too rushed to take pictures, but I do have some)

We ate at T-Rex dinner, Chef Mickey dinner, Boma dinner, Donald Safari Breakfast, Playhouse Play N Dine Breakfast at Hollywood Vine, Sci Fi Dine In late lunch, Ohana dinner, Crystal Palace dinner (also Columbia Harbor House and the Mara)

T-Rex was expensive but the food was good and the atmosphere excellent-mmmmm chocolate extinction and tomato basil soup...I WOULD go back (I was worried it would be too loud and dark for my little guy...it was fine, he adored it)

Chef Mickey-it was alright, character interaction was good, waiter was good, food was like eating at the school cafeteria...it was edible but not as good of a selection as Golden Corral even...desert bar was good (Mickey oreo things were to die for)...I would NOT do this one again, once was enough

Boma-AWESOME! They even gave my son a cupcake the night before his birthday...we got 3 free cupcakes all week---this one was the best, gummy bears and chocolate writing...the food is just so good...salads, hummus, meat, etc.

Donald Safari Breakfast-AWESOME! The character interaction was great and the food was REALLY good.

Play N Dine Breakfast-okay, would not do it again...there are only 4 characters and they are not even that great (yes I knew this ahead of time, but honestly, they should throw in Mickey or a rotating character or something)...there are many more characters from the line up that my son would rather see (Oso, Handy Manny, etc.)...food was alright...character interaction was very good and personal though

Sci Fi- Mixed Review....would do again, great atmosphere and service, I would probably just order an appetizer and a milkshake (oreo milkshake, the chocoloate milkshake just tasted like soft serve, couldn't even drink it)...onion rings and soup good, burger okay, sandwich had STALE bread-nasty should have gotten the burger! Cheesecake for dessert was pretty good...cheesecake in general was good around the world
I was disappointed in the entrees

Ohana....would definitely do again, best dinner food of the entire trip...however, the food came out WAY WAY too fast, I didn't really get to enjoy it, it was like 6 courses in 30 minutes plus I had to get up to do the dancing with my son so then my food was cold when I got back...Everyone in my party (even the pickiest among us) LOVED every bit of the food

Crystal Palace...loved the salads and desserts were good, better food than Chef Mickey...but very loud and chaotic atmosphere (although the building is lovely)...b/c of a camera glitch, pictures of Tigger were bad and Eeyore (my fave) didn't really stay long enough for a good picture...but I love Winnie the Pooh so I would do again

Great reviews! Very concise. :goodvibes

Your revew of Sci Fi is why we continue to stay away. My DM and I had appetizers (I think it was the onion rings), beverages, and dessert there many years back and while the atmosphere was pretty cool we were really disappointed in our sundaes-they were made with soft serve ice cream and were more than 1/2 melted by the time they arrived. The server was nice and took them off the bill since we didn't eat them. I keep thinking of going back so DD9 can see it. Maybe we could use just one TS credit for meal for DD (she'll be an adult then) and pay OOP for an appetizer and/or dessert. I think she would like it.

We have also continued to not eat at CM. Haven't done it yet, reviews are spotty, and it seems that it's a hard ADR to get (esp. during free DDP)

T-Rex sounds interesting. I need to look at their menu. It wasn't open when we were there last Sept.

Since they changed the menu at Ohanas it is served at a faster pace but we've learned to slow it down by asking the meat servers to come back in 10-15 minutes so we can enjoy our appetizers longer. The meal is DHs fave and we take our time, especially with dessert:thumbsup2 Our ADR is for June 24, I believe...can't wait:worship:
