Quick CR question.

Just got back from a great trip at the CR. I was tinkering around and planning our next trip (just tinkering) and I noticed that rooms are so hard to come by on the disney site and also if planning with American Airline miles, specifically for the CR. We used an agent last time but may use mileage next.
Anyone have a solution or reason?????

disney can rent alot of rooms for rack rate. It is only much, much closer to your time that will see more rooms with discount. if they have them.

so if you find anything at the CR I would take it.

Well I probably won't be back till 2009 but I was just playing 2008 dates to get numbers in my head.
The CR never came up under American mileage vacation searches though. We have alot that I would like to use up for the next trip.

I can't get anything to come up at the CR for next Nov (08) and I check daily.

It's been suggested that they hold a chunk of them and release them later.
Especially since CR holds conventions and what not.

Don't depend on the website, its not always correct. I just made a ressie for the CR for Nov '08. The Disney website was showing no avalibility but when I called CRO they had every room category avalible. I even got a AAA discount for a Tower Theme Park View (11/8/08-11/14/08).

I did call ask them when I initially switched my ressie but have not tried with them again. I'll call in the morning.

Thanks for the advice on calling. Like I said I was just checking around but I will take your advice when we get closer. 2009 is too far away......
