Quick Chefs De France question?

Dined there today and enjoyed it. For any potato lovers like me who might have been concerned that removing the chicken dish with mashed potato from the menu would mean you couldn't sub mashed potato for the noodles on the boeuf bourguignon, rest easy. It's still an option and even encouraged. 🥔🥔🥔

Great to hear! I'm hopeful that maybe the negative reviews got back to someone who kicked them in the A*** and they've gotten better again-including the rattatoue

We have eaten at Chefs many times and never had a bad meal. The pace is a little slower, but to us that makes it feel more authentic to a dining experience in France. I agree with the sentiment that restaurants don’t appeal to everyone and the only way to know if it appeals to you is to try dining there yourself.

Ate there a decade ago and wasn’t impressed, then in late Dec’24 tried it with my son and niece and it was fabulous! Steak, beef B., salmon, salad, wine, waiter, ambiance, all perfect! Can’t wait to go back this month!!!! Try it. You’ll like it. 😁

That bad? We’ve never been either but are planning to go in September.
Just had the salmon in the last couple weeks. Hard pass. It wasn’t fishy, just dullsville- and for $40 it should NOT be dullsville. The beurre blac sauce just tasted like melted butter (I like beurre blanc sauce and know it’s mostly butter- but it shouldn’t seem like straight up melted butter), the sides of broccolini and rice were so tasteless I left the meal thinking I could have gotten this at the Pop food court for like $15.

I used to love this place pre-Covid. Since then after a couple sad meals I stopped going a year or two ago. Some people in my party had great meals, others didn’t, they really struggled with consistency. I tried again in June. Seeing others here rave about the salmon I can see they still do not have their house in order consistency wise. I will not be back, it’s too expensive a meal to hope I hit the kitchen on a good day.
