Quick Castle Club Question

Hope someone can answer these for me.

If you only wanted to stay 1 night would you really get the benefit of it? Presumeably you check in around 3pm and depart at 11am therefore not really experiencing it and you'd need to stay for 2 nights?

If you have a dream AP would you get a discount off Castle Club rooms or does it just apply to a standard room?

You cant get AP discount off Castle club or suites AFAIK.

I suppose you could still get the benefit even if staying one night as you can use the facilities on the day you arrive and leave so could use Castle club lounge for drinks and afternoon tea etc on both days. I suppose this would work best if in the resort for longer but just staying in CC one night

I think that might my a litlle diffrent.
The second day when you check out before 11 am you get a temporary lift key with a time lock.
We did not use it because we left when we checked out but the key was not for the whole day.
Next time i will pay more attention

Thanks - Id always just assumed you'd be able to take advantage of the facilities all day. It would be interesting to know what time the 'lock' activates.

On our last day at CC we were given a Key card so we could still have afternoon tea - which we did at 4.00pm - and use the private lift down to the park!DH wasn't going to bother then looked at mine and DS and DD faces and get the Key card ASAP! We checked in at 8.30am on the morning we arrived and after being given our tickets a very nice CM took us to the Castle Lounge and arranged a drink for us all. Think you could experience it just by staying 1 night, if you just want to see what everyones on about!

If you don't get a discount with AP can you book a standard room with a discount and then ask if you can upgrade on arrival and just pay the difference or does that not work?

I suppose you could but obviously you run the risk that there is no availability to upgrade.

we were allowed to use the CC lounge all day on our last day.
