Where do you grab a quick breakfast either prior to, or when you get to the parks? We are staying at Contemporary. Does Contempo Cafe have smaller items such as a muffin or bagel ? Or it's only full menu items such as on the Disney website? And is there an easy grab and go at each park on your way in?

When my family stayed there a couple of years ago, we got breakfast most days at the "sundries" shop Fantasia Market or at Contempo Cafe. Contempo Cafe definitely has the best options for us - baked goods and small items like yogurt, fruit cups or boiled eggs.

Great thank you. Wasn't sure if they had smaller items as you mentioned. That's perfect.

Most of the resort QS places have some kind of breakfast sandwich. I particularly enjoy the country breakfast wrap at The Artist's Palette and the bacon, egg and cheese croissant at Gasparilla Grill.

That's great to know. Thanks.

If a resort has a DVC section, people tend to look at the DVC Grocery Order form to see some of the food items which are sold in the resort's gift shop. (The DVC grocery orders are filled from the gift shop.) Here is the link to a grocery order form from Bay Lake Tower, which is the Contemporary's DVC building. The list may be old, but it will give you an idea of breakfast food which you can buy in the gift shop and keep in your room for a quick breakfast.

We do Contempo quite often for just that. There's also the coffee shop near the check-in counter (I think it's called Contemporary Grounds) on ground level and they have those type of items as well (pastries etc).

We stayed at the Contemporary back in 2019 and the Contempo Cafe or Contempo Grounds were our choices for a lighter breakfast. As I recall, the pastry choices changed daily @ Contempo Grounds which was basically a 'to go' type of setup. Contempo Grounds would be my suggestion if you only want a bagel/donut/pastry to go with your juice or coffee. If you want a bit more to eat, Contempo Cafe was a type of QS service/cafeteria style setup where you chose whatever you wanted and paid at the cash register then could find your own place to sit. You did not have to have a full meal and could just choose whatever you wanted. Can't comment on if anything has changed once things reopened after the covid shutdown.

Since they have similar names, Contempo Cafe is next door to Chef Mickey's while Comtempo Grounds is on the floor where the check-in desk is located.

Still the same on all counts as of March 2022 (our most recent stay there). We went to both Contemporary Grounds and Contempo Cafe on that stay.

In May there were several kiosk type locations at AK that had a breakfast wrap. I just got a muffin, DH had the wrap and thought it was quite good. We went for EE and sadly Joffrey's outside the tapstyles wasn't open, so we rode FOP and then got coffee and breakfast snack. This one was in the vicinity of Tiffin's but we saw the same wrap being sold in Africa and Asia locations.

try some of the moderate hotels - resonable pricing - we like Port Orleans

Coronado Springs: Northern Mexico and the American Southwest

The Cabins at Fort Wilderness: rustic frontier

Port Orleans – French Quarter: 19th Century New Orleans

Port Orleans – Riverside: Antebellum Louisiana plantation, bayou-side retreat
