Our plans are for the 2 nephews, 9 and 7, to just eat a poptart in the room in the morning. None of us are big breakfast eaters but DB, DSIL and I will want something. We were thinking of grabbing a muffin or pastry on our way into a park. What are the best options for each of the parks?

All of the parks have at least one (generally several) place where you can get quick breakfast foods. The easiest to find are muffins, croissants, danishes, cinnamon rolls, etc. You can also find yogurt parfaits and fruit bowls which might be a nice change for variety. All of these qualify as snack credits, so if a few of you each use 1 snack credit on various things, you can share the items between you. My husband and I are planning on sharing a large muffin & a yogurt parfait or bowl of fruit each morning for a more "rounded" breakfast other than just carbs! ;)

If you do want to use a CS credit or pay OOP, you can also find hot breakfast sandwiches, usually a croissant with egg, bacon, and cheese, or a variant of that.

Check out my 2012 Confirmed Snacks thread for many ideas. While we did SC for breakfast a few times we also were able to get 3 snacks at POP for on CS credit. Verify with your resort before doing. Have fun!

We were able to do the same thing at CSR. I would suggest getting your muffin at your resort and eating it as you wait for the bus and not waste your valuable first hour in the park eating.
