Hello All - my husband and I will be at SS mid May for a quick trip. We usually stay at Boardwalk so I am completely unfamiliar with this resort. I have been trying to read up here and learn as much as I can. That being said, I have a question regarding QS breakfast options at SS. I usually get up early, shower, and then while hubby is showering, walk to the bakery and get a couple breakfast sandwiches. Where would you do this at SS? I'm guessing the main bulilding? I know this resort is quite spread out, so I'm wondering how long of a walk this will be each morning. We have a preferred view with a request in for Congess Park. How long of walk will this be? Are there other, closer options? Thanks for your help!

Artists Palette is the QS location at SSR.
It is in the Main Building (where check-in is located)
Yes, there are multiple closer locations than the CP area. The walk from CP area to the main building, if you cut through the pool area is about 1/2 mile.

And is Artist Palette the only place to get a QS breakfast at Saratoga? Walking a mile for breakfast every morning before a full day in the park seems like a lot!! May have to come up with another option.

No but at that time of the morning the locations around the pool areas are still closed.
Depending on the time, you might be better off getting something at EMH or RD in a park.

Well that's disappointing. We don't spend time at the parks in line for food in the mornings. Guess I'll bring some breakfast bars or something. And coffee. Oh well it will be more money for drinks later I guess!

My husband and I are staying SSR for the first time in a few weeks also. Preferred room booked and requested CP. Is room service available for breakfast?

If you are in Congress park I would highly recommend walking to Wolfgang Puck Express and getting the breakfast pizza. It's easily able to feed two people, and for us fed three adults a light breakfast. Also since it feeds so many it's super economical.

Thanks! About how long of a walk is that from Congress Springs? Is anything else open for breakfast at Disney Springs?

The location within DS do not open until 10:00.
Congress Springs - It is Congress Park (CP). It is the closest area of SSR to DS. From the furthest room at CP to WPE about the same as to the Main Building of SSR. From the closest room at CP to WPE about 1/8 mile one way.

Yes thank you, I meant Congress Park. Looks like it is back to breakfast bars.

Paddock Grille (at the Paddock Pool) also serves breakfast. Unfortunately that is probably just as far for the OP as the Artist Palette.

I don't see the walk from furthest point of Congress Park to Artist's Palette as being all that much longer than BWV-->Bakery. Maybe .1 or .2 miles longer...about 2-3 minutes? Both images are same scale. Taking bus from CP bus stop over to The Springs (right across from Artist's Palette) would reduce the walk by at least 1/2.

(EDIT: Images started same scale but Photobucket or forum software may have resized. Still, every WDW resort has some walk to its quick service dining. Whether you're headed to Roaring Fork, Capt Cook's, Gasparilla Island Grill...it's a solid 5 minute walk, give or take depending on room location. As an owner at both BWV and SSR, I don't see the walk as being a whole lot longer at Saratoga.)
