Just got back yesterday from a 4 night stay at WDW CSR. The free dining offer totally rocked the vacation! DB and I had nothing but praise for each restaurant we dined at so if you're looking for a more critical review, don't read this - we were super impressed with EVERYTHING and had no complaints, HAHAHA!
Day 1
Dinner @ Tangierine Café (CS)
DELISH! I got the chicken shawarma platter and DB ordered the meatballs and yellow rice. The chicken was so soft and tasty and I loved the sides. DBs platter was good too but he liked what I ordered better. The baklava was SWEET!!!
Day 2
Lunch @ 50s Prime Time (TS)
I asked that our server take it easy on us, just in case. Everything was awesome! Fried cheese and onion rings to start, then fried chicken and pot roast for the main dish and the (humongous) Smores and angel food cake for dessert. Had floats to wash it all down. Seriously good stuff. No Tower for an hour!
Dinner @ ABC Commissary (CS)
I had the half Cuban sandwich with the black bean salad and a Turtle tart to finish. DB had the wrap and the mousse for dessert. So awesome!
Day 3
Lunch @ Le Cellier (TS)
A little taste of home (were from Canada so we HAD to dine here!) Cheese soup and shrimp cocktail to start both were so flavorful! I had the prime rib dip and DB had the steak. Perfection. Ended the meal with raspberry sorbet and the maple crème brulee man, so good. Thank you Disney!
Dinner @ Pepper Market (CS)
I had the wet burrito. I SMOTHERED IT in all the fixins salsa, sour cream, beans and corn. Fantastic! DB had the prime rib. Did you say PRIME RIB?? Is THIS counter service? Just .wow. Dessert was churros, cookies and brownies.
Day 4
Breakfast @ Kona Café
Had to try the Tonga Toast and was NOT disappointed. DB had the steak and eggs. We both had smoothies (the guava one is a little peace of heaven!)
Dinner @ BOMA
Seriously, I cant believe this meal was free. Everything was totally excellent. I especially liked the carrot soup and the mustard pork loin. Also loved the banana bread pudding and I love all the sides like the sun dried tomato hummous and the cous cous.
Day 5
Breakfast @ Pepper Market
For our last meal I had the breakfast skillet which was choc-full of sausage, bacon, eggs and potatoes. DB had the southwestern omelet. It was a nice last meal .again, we both smothered our dishes in salsa and sour cream woo hoo!
