Dec 6-15, 2003.
Five in attendance. adult DD, DH and a couple adult friends.
We just returned from 9 days at WDW and will keep this very short. As well as the monster in our Doom Buggy, the five of us brought back various versions of colds, but we didn't let it hamper our fun. We stayed six nights at POR in the Mansions--lovely and wonderfully nice workers; stayed the last three nights at AKL. After reserving a Savannah view and receiving a poolside room, we asked for and were moved to a room on the Zebra trail. What a unique experience to go to sleep and wake up with animals outside one's window. Parks were nearly empty, except Saturday at MK, but we were prepared for that. Weather cooperated with only one real day of rain and it was more of a nuisance drip-drip than a downpour. Became quite cool at night, but very comfortable walking with a sweater or light jacket. Mickey's Philharmagic was fantastic! Saw it several times. Mission Space upset my equilibrium, but knew it would and rode it anyway! Two young-at-heart ladies rode w/DD and they came out laughing and giggling like school girls, she said. Favorite restaurants this time were: Tepanyaki and Fulton's--both excellent meals. Ate at several others, but nothing to brag about--maybe I had a loss of taste buds due to cold. Some observations: parks need some major refurbishing, some of the Cast Members need a "magic" jolt, and found more and more rude adults than children. I'm not ready to leave today, but give me a week to recoup and I'll be ready to leave again for the most magical place!
