Quick and Casual Meal Vouchers

Leaving for the world in 2 days and need some info on the meal vouchers.

I have 6 of the Quick and casual ones. Me and my hubby only.

For those of who have used them, can you give me some input on the sort of items and at what food counters you ordered for 2 people and what the "regular" cost would of been.????

And also, do the CM's know how to use them, are they really familiar with the vouchers? I hate to be the person who holds up the food line!

Any info would be appreciated...as I am CLUELESS on ordering with these food vouchers.

As for the most value...you will be ahead on most counter serve places by the time you add on the drink and dessert. Beaches and Cream and Pepper Market used to be a really good value. A friend got back and said some CMs did not seem to know while others did. We're planning on splitting some meals in Oct. Let us know where you end up going.

DH and I used vouchers in May, and will be using them again in 8 DAYS!!! (can you tell I am getting so excited???)

Anyway, if it was a sit-down place (i.e. Beaches and Cream) we told the wait person that we were using the voucher up front and that we were splitting one meal. We usually ordered a second beverage and then tipped a little extra for the trouble of splitting. Many times they will literally split the meal for you onto two separate plates, which I think is extra nice and above the call of duty . At the counter service places you just present your voucher when ordering at the little cashier stand instead of paying with cash or room charge.

The vouchers worked great for us, especially with managing the amount of food that you get at most places - sharing was definitely plenty for both of us (especially at B&C with those great desserts!)

peco bill's at wdw. we split the wrap sandwich, huge!, got root beer float as dessert and the other drank the coke which also came with it along with fries.

good value.

we also did beaches and cream, columbia harbor with the q&c.

I posted several places we used the vouchers...we seldom aw a deal in the parks themsleves, even after going over many menus. I think Peppermarket was the best deal, unless you want to order the Kitchen Sink at Beaches..then that one is. Here is the URL for the thread I started on where i used my vouchers.
