Is there a list somewhere of which queues have interactive elements?

Now I don't ever like to wait more than 15-20 minutes for a ride....but I do think the new Peter Pan is great & Expedition Everest really sets the tone for what's to come!

Most of the rides it seems now are some sort of interactive to a certain degree while you wait in line.

My favorites are Peter Pan, Haunted Mansion, Tower of Terror (no interactive elements, just for the atmosphere), Star Tours, Expedition Everest, Little Mermaid.

Queues with interactive elements:
7 Dwarfs Mine Train - gem sorting game, colored fountain, barrels that you can spin to make a projection
Journey of the Little Mermaid - scavenger hunt with the crab who pops up - I've never done it as the line was never long enough to stop
Peter Pan's Flight - New queue takes you through the Darling's nursery where you can interact with Tink and bells and such
Haunted Mansion - musical crypts and such outside the entrance
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad - TNT plungers and viewers that show down in the mine - these don't really seem to work/do much
Space Mountain - just some space games along the latter half of the Star Tunnel
Soarin' - weird game where the whole group of people in line lean their bodies to control a bird - very difficult!
Toy Story Mania! - Mister Potatohead can talk with guests and recognize them and such - I hear he's on hiatus right now due to expansion.

That's all I can think of, but I probably missed a few.

I hate waiting, but I can wait for about 30 minutes in the Peter Pan queue just because it's so cute. I also like Haunted Mansion and Space; the music and theming just get you so pumped up for the ride. I've also waited in the ToT queue and not even ridden, just because it's cool and the ride is too scary for me.

Pooh is a good queue for the little ones, too (and big ones as well).

All of the ones mentioned are great interactive queues. Be prepared for the adults in your party to have more fun than your kids. At the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, even without lines adults will play the games. It's really great to see the whole family enjoying the queues. (:

My personal favorites are Space Mountain (multiplayer games), the games in The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and queues like Tower of Terror, Expedition Everest, Star Tours, and Toy Story Mania simply for how intricately themed they are and how entertaining they are to wait in.

As a parent my favorite is Dumbo. As long as it's not super crowded and I can easily retrieve my children.

I can sit down and enjoy my kids burning off energy while waiting for the buzzer to buzz.

IMHO, Peter Pan's interactive queue is now as good as the ride itself. Love that one...but also not going to stand in line for an hour to experience it. Worst line for me, Splash Mountain!! It can be SOOOOOOOOooooooooooo long and depending on the time of year, HOT, HUMID, or WET!!

Was I the only one that thought the buzzer would go off when your "spot" in line go to the front/loading area?? That's how everything I read made it sound. I was thinking it was like a restaurant buzzer, you know making progress while you wait. Needless to say, I was a bit frustrated when I found out that we just made our "wait" longer by playing and then getting back in the exact same spot in line. My kids loved the playground and it's a great spot to be in the AC, I just felt a little duped the first time.

Love all the details in TSMM and Mister Potato Head interactions - it's one I actually miss seeing when we FP! Also, the area across from TSMM where you meet Buzz and Woody. It has many great cardboard cutouts from the movie that you can stick your head in for fun photos while you wait, and it helps entertain the kids.

That Pooh dripping honey thing is disgusting. So many germs and brats licking it. SO gross.

Definitely Expedition Everest. But we still use single rider most of the time.

I found the Peter Pan line to be very claustrophobic. The line kept winding through little room after little room, with no windows. By the time we got to the stretch of fresh air before you board the ride I was feeling very much like "get me out of here!"

I don't really care for the Peter Pan ride itself and have done many trips without riding it. Last trip we went with my in-laws and they wanted to ride so we followed along. I actually didn't know about the interactive queue and I was pleasantly surprised. I'll happily ride Peter Pan now just to go through the queue :)

The 7DMT is pretty fun too when you're spinning the barrels and you manage to get all 7 spinning at the same time. It's amazing how something so simple can make a room cheer ha ha.

My other favorites ares Haunted Mansion, Test Track (because it's fun to create a horrendously ugly car and try and beat our previous cars score) and Expedition Everest.

I agree, but you don't actually have to touch it to get it to work. Just get your hand close and it has the same effect (or touch it through a tissue).

good thread! I don't mind waiting in line for the People Mover, Space Mountain, Tower of terror, Splash Mt, and Expedition Everest; I rather enjoy those lines especially bc the ride is worth the wait. I think that plays a big role in whether or not I enjoy the line queues or not. If the ride is worth the wait then I enjoy them, but if not then I just look at my watch the whole time saying "I can't believe I'm waiting this long for this ride" haha
