Queues - the bad and ugly

So CourtFool started a thread about your favorite queues and I am coming at it from a different angle.

What are your least favorite queues? Which ones should be torn down and remodeled?

I really dislike the queue for Autopia.

California Sreaming, it was fine two years ago, looks wrong now.

I don't like the queues for some of the old Fantasyland rides - particularly Peter Pan. They are too narrow and everyone is squished in like sardines. Especially bad when it's hot out and you're sweaty.

The other one that bothered me on our last trip was Roger Rabbit. I can imagine it being fine if there is a long line, but we were among the first ones in Toontown one morning, so we went from brilliant sunshine into the dark, twisty-turny queue (and went all the way through without stopping) and I was pretty sure I was going to throw up by the time I got to the front.

I like the queues like TSMM the most b/c they are able to close off part of the area when the line isn't so long. I hate going through the whole maze at full speed.

Roger Rabbit. Not to be torn-down, but I disliked it because it appeared deceptively shorter than it was. Same with ToyStoryMM. I swear there is some black hole where they add a mile of people-line in the space of a few actual square feet.

I agree, Peter Pan is awful and Roger Rabbit deceptive. I also hate Nemo because it moves. so. darn. slowly. Drives me nuts! But at least its outside and shaded once you get in there.

But PP is the worst for sure. Just awful. WDW definitely has some better line theming. Their Pooh and Haunted Mansion are awesome!!!

I dislike how Space Mountain's line just sits on that terrace in the sun. Its so eerie and deserted feeling up there.

Nemo...but that might be partially because it is so long.

Toy Story is the worst because there is nothing to look at! It is boring and long. When we go in the summer it is usually 40-50 minutes. Once you see the potato head at the start, the rest is boring and hot. When I saw pictures of the WDW version I couldn't believe it. Why do they get cute things to look at to pass the time and we get nothing?

The Screamin line is boring also, but we always have a FP for that so we don't wait that long.

I agree with PinkBudgie! TSMM probably is my least favorite. It is ALWAYS long and moves at a slow pace. I especially dislike the part when you are inside the building area (before you get your 3D glasses) when it is hot out it is SUPER hot inside there. The good part is once your in there, it's not too long when you are on the ride.

I will say though, that it is a great ride to grab a snack before you get in line, as you can munch while waiting, which helps the time pass. Also......heck, I'll take any line without too much fuss. This is DL, one of my favorite places to be, and while some lines aren't as fun as others, it's still one of the best places to be!!

Haven't been to DL is so long that I can't comment on TSMM but I do remember disliking autotopia (booooorrring and ridiculously long) and Peter Pan (claustrophobic).

Nobody has mentioned story book canal. The lines seems really small cuz its a very very small space, buts its seriously claustrophobic. I got to know people a little better than I wanted to. And the wait is long.
