Hi everyone, we've never been in February before, but were wondering if anyone could help us out with the crowd levels. We go this Friday (can't wait!) but aren't sure what to expect at the parks. Previously we've been in July (x2) and are hoping to see a big difference......

Thanks
Lisa :cool1:

Sorry can't help you with that, no major holidays so should be O.K
but not long to wait have a great time :thumbsup2

It is no where near as crowded as July. (July is peak season) however you should be fine. There is Presidents weekend in there, but other then that...:thumbsup2

It will be busy valatine's day, and Presidents weekend, but apart for that its very quiet. We love going this time of the year, not so hot too!!!!!

Syko, Have you been around the time of Presidents Weekend before? If so, is it just the weekend that is really busy or is it the following week too?

We go Feb 8th and there is a big Builders Convention going on and also a major Cheerleading Competition. Apparently there are no rooms available at all onsite for some of this period. I'm hoping that the parks will be relatively quiet during the day while this things are going on but then I'm expecting them to become considerably busier in the evenings.

I phoned to reserve some Character Breakfasts a couple of weekends ago and I had no problems getting the meals I wanted on the days I wanted and even had a choice of times with all of them. I'm hoping that this was some sort of sign that the parks won't be heaving while we're there!

We have been (late) Jan, (early, mid and late) Feb and (early) March.

Feb is an excellent time to go crowd wise. Among the very best! Always missed Presidents day, so a day shopping may be an idea! Been there when there was a cheerleader invasion, but this did not increase crowds/ride waiting at all. Crowds are very low during Feb even when cheerleaders are in town!I hear they can be a little noisey at night in the value Disney hotels..

Some people think it a little cooler than they expected. Some mornings and late evenings may be a little cool, but shorts n Tess all day long. Some days were very, very warm.

Our next trip will be mid Feb! Have a great time

Thanks for all your help, we're home again on the 16th so should miss President's weekend.

Very excited now!! Can't wait

have never thought of going in Jan or Feb, so could you tell me what date Presidents day is and cheer leaders date are. I would like to make a note of this for future reference. pixiedust:

No, not the cheerleaders  They were the bain of our holiday December 2004 and I thought I had gotten away with it going in February.

Hi Lisa, another Lisa here, we are flying out on Saturday, see you there :yay:

Cheerleaders are a nightmere, especially if you are at the same resort as them. Presidents weekend is busy, feb 19th, but the rest of the time the parks are quite, as long as you do not want to be on the same ride as the cheerleaders!!!!
For the weather expect 70 to 85 during the day and 50 to 60 at night, but that being said it did get down to 34 this week!!!!!!

Last year we went the first week in Feb for a week. The weather was great (warm during the day but needed a jumper/light jacket at night). The crowds were really good but Mk was probably twice as busy as te other parks.

hi all

going on Feb 10th. :)

must remember to avoid the:cheer2:

I understand as well as Presidents day / weekend - ( can anyone else confirm - sounds like the sat/sun/mon 17/18/19 will be busy and the following week OK ??? )

Also I had a concern re the 15th , some Florida bank holiday apparently - Susan somebodyorother - anyone know if that is likely to make the day busier ?

ta

The holiday is the 16th, and you will get the local kids going to the parks, but there will not be much difference. Have a great time.

well at least we miss President's Weekend. We are staying with our DVC points so hopefully the cheerleaders don't stay there.

See you all in two weeks.
