my DD and i will be having a special mom and me trip for my DD 8th bday in feb (12-19) all the quests i have seen end on dec 31, 2005. will there be new ones?

Most likely yes. If there weren't there would be no profit for Disney through VMK.

I was wondering the same thing we just made reservations for a short trip for the end of January (we will be heading down to WDW for the Disney Vacation Club member preview of Expedition Everest - woot).
