We are visiting in January (3rd week) and we are curious about some questions:
1. How long does the travel time take from All Star Resorts to the theme parks ?
2. IF we scedule meal times for 4-5pm, is that a good time to get to the shows in the evenings at Magic Kingdom(Spectromagic, parades, etc)?
3. Does anyone have any info on the Disney Magic Express, Do you have to sign up for this?
We are a family of 9 ready for a good time.

Travel time from hotels to parks vary but here is site that you can estimate, thouogh I think some of these times are estimated longer then they actually are: http://www.ourlaughingplace.com/asp/twiz.asp?action=rts. When you call to schedule your meals I would ask the park hours at that time, gererally between 4 and 5 should work well. As far as the Magic Express Bus, yes, they need to know in advance if you want to go on the bus. When you call to make your room reservation tell them you would like the Magic Express and they will ask your flight information. Hope this info helps! Have a great time and let me know if you have room for one more!!!!!!!!!! :teeth: :earboy2: :wave2:

Hello and welcome!
Just wanted to add that you can find a lot of WDW info on allearsnet.com......wdwinfo.com.....and mousesaver.com

Enjoy your trip!

Welcome to the DIS. You will find lots and lots of information here.
The Transportation Board here has ongoing threads about the Magical Express, so you might want to visit it. You need to make a reservation 10 days in advance. You can make it by calling CRO. You can also ask there about the travel times from one place to another, and the best route for traveling around the world. There are experts there that will answer quickly.
There is also lots of information on the Theme Parks board about happenings going on throughout the World. You can also visit it.
A suggestion is to take a look at all of the menus that are posted at "allearsnet.com". Decide where you would like to eat. Be sure to call 407 WDW-DINE 90 days before your trip to book your ADR's (Advanced Dining Reservations). Many of the most popular restaurants fill up very early.
Hope this helps and have fun planning, we all do :earboy2:
