Can anyone tell me the difference in the Camping Community Board and the Camping in Disney World sections of the DisBoards? Also what happened to certain sig blocks, avatars and PM connections lately? Is it related to the ******* in recent days/weeks on the forum? Just a relative newbie looking for clarification, not trying to stir anything up.

Well I missed the problems (always miss out on the good stuff ) but I will tell you the difference.

The main board is to discuss Disney and Fort issues. So people come over there to find out about sites, sing-alongs, entertainment, etc.

The Community Board evolved because everyone on this board is usually quite friendly. And as with many campers, we love to meet up and chat. Sometimes done in person at the Fort. Sometimes done on-line. So they moved all the chatty threads (about nothing really camping related) to a community board.
I think it all started with a White Castle thread.

I haven't been around here lately because I've been swamped at work (and should be working now ) but the people here are friendly and welcome you. So feel free to ask any questions about the Fort and Disney. If this group can't answer them correctly they will certainly make something up that sounds good.

The missing items are punishment Dised out by the forum. You say the wrong thing or do something the forum does not like you get something taken away.
