Questions to interview a family therapist

Hi gang,

My hubby and I are fighting and we would like to see a couples therapist.

He has compiled a list of therapists in our area.
Many offer a complimentary 30 phone interview.

Can anyone reccommend questions to ask?

I would think that part of what you want to know would be the same information as for other professionals. Ask what their credentials are, and how long they have been in that line of therapy. I would also ask whether they are affiliated with any particular groups or churches. I would want to know their rates, and what sort of program they would suggest--private vs. group counselling.
