Hi all,

First off, this forum has been invaluable in my Disney planning. Thank you to all who contribute with tips, ideas, reviews, etc.

We are traveling next week. Because of the forum, I was able to book a 2-BR at Bonnet Creek. I have a few questions about booking a throw away... I am considering booking one night of our trip at a value resort.

1. I already have my park tickets from Undercover Tourist. I have not linked or done anything with them yet, but they are here.

2. If I book a resort and want benefits (parking, MB, etc.), do I need to book directly through Disney?

3. I understand there is free parking at parks for check-in and check-out day... Do I have this correct? If I book for Monday night, do we have free park parking (all parks) for Monday and Tuesday?

4. Would I be able to get magic bands as part of our rental? As I said, I already have the tickets. Could I set them up on MDE, then link bands? Since we are traveling next week, could I have the bands sent to us via FedEx?

5. I see FP+ will be open to offsite visitors starting next week (week we will be there). Does that mean FP+ will be available, or only the advance booking (i.e. you can start booking next week, won't take effect until end of April).

6. If I link my tickets now through MDE, can I set up FP+ stuff right away? When after confirming Disney reservation do I get the access to do that? Again, if tickets are from UT, is that a problem?

Thank you for your quick answers to these questions. I had hoped to have more planning time, but my father became ill and I've been preoccupied with that.

Best,
Emme

1- yes you can link uncover tourist tickets 2- yes you should call Disney and book direct since your running out of time 3- you are correct free parking at all parks Mon and Tue 4- I would ask if they can fed ex them if not you will have to go to the resort to pick them up. 5- not sure what day you can start using it. 6- yes as soon as you have tickets and hotel linked you can book your Fp+

1. Yes, you should be able to link them. Try doing that first and booking your fp+. It should work. (Should being the key word).

2. Yes, you'd be best booking thru Disney, since you are so close to your travel date.

3. Yes, that is correct. You'll need to do the math too see if it's worth it to you. You'd save $30 on the parking for two days, but the one night will be at least double that.

4. Yes to all. There may be an extra charge to fedex it, not sure.

5. Reports have varied, but login to MDE and link your tickets and go from there. Some have even reported booking a dining ressie and that opened up fp+ for them. The system is still very iffy.

6. see above answers.

To get free parking pass, don't you have to check-in?

Can you check-in before the 4:00 afternoon time?

If you have to check in anyway to get parking pass, you could get the MBs then.
