Our flight to MCO just came down $20.00 per ticket. So, I rebooked and got a $60.00 credit.
Here's where my questions come in. The background info.: I booked our flights one way instead of round trip. On May 6, I booked our return trip because it was at $58.00, which was a fantastic price (still is - it has gone up since we booked). I didn't book our flight to WDW at that point because it was at $109.00 and had been sitting there for a while. I had seen it cheaper at one point, but didn't book, so I wanted to wait and see if it came down again. Anyway, I waited as long as I could, but started to get nervous that the the flight would fill up, so I booked it on May 16 at $109.00. I've been checking the flight every day to see if it was reduced again, and today it's at $89.00. So, as I said, I rebooked and got the credit. So...
Question 1. Can we apply the credit to our return flight or does it have to be applied to an entirely new reservation?
Question 2. If it has to be applied to a new reservation, I'm confused about the date. I know it has to be within a year of purchase, but, would that be May 16, the day I originally purchased our flight to MCO? Or, would it be today, the day I rebooked? Or, would it be May 6, the day I booked our return flight?
Thanks for your help!
