Questions re: Activating/Linking Magic Band Purchased from Disney Store

Out oldest son is spending 3 days with us on our 10 day trip next month. He's going to stay at the resort with us (we'll add him when we check in) and he has 3 day park hopper tickets. I purchased him a magic band from the Disney store since he didn't get one for the trip. So three questions. First, how do I link his park hopper tickets to his magic band? Second, how do I activate his magic band so that he can go to the parks when he arrives in Orlando? And third, how do I add charging privileges to his magic band so he can charge to the room?

1. You add the magic band to his profile on your MDE account - anything that's in his profile will be able to be accessed by his magic band.

2. It doesn't need to be activated - once it's added to his profile, it's good to go.

3. You set that up at the front desk.

I just purchased two magic bands from the Disney Store. They came with step by step directions on linking it to your MDE account.

Thanks everyone, I think I figured it out. The magic band was shipped to his apartment so I didn't have the instructions but he gave me the number and I linked it to his account, which is linked to his tickets, so hopefully everything will work now (other than adding him to the room charge when we arrive).
