Hi,
My planning session is on the 9th. Unfortunately we can not go to WDW to do this so we will have to do it on the phone. :sad1:
Our ceremony is at WP and reception is at the Yatch Club - Asbury Hall. I was wondering if anyone knew the price of flower girl baskets and if I am better off buying them outside of Disney floral. Also, does anyone know if I have to buy bubbles through Disney floral or can I bring my own? And does anyone know what Disney charges for the bubbles?

Next, Has anyone used After Hours Formal Wear for tux's? What was the cost? And will they deliver. I find $145 to be very expensive. The bidesmaids dresses were $115 and the girls get to keep them.

Can anyone recommend a place were guest can get their hair done before the wedding?

Okay, I think thats it for now. I am sure I will have more questions soon!

THANK YOU!!! :)

i don't know any of your answers, but there are always TONS of disney brides on this sight that I know will be able to help you!!

I'm just givin' you a BUMP!!

Congrats on your upcoming wedding!

I can't help with all of your questions, but I'll try a few....

We didn't use After Hours Formal Wear, so I can't help you there, but the tux my husband did rent cost about $150 from Men's Wearhouse here at home. This included an extra few days that we were allowed to keep it because of the distance we would be going. The prices started around $99, and went up from there.

As far as bubbles go, we took our own. I bought them at AC Moore here at home, with a coupon, so they were only about $4 or so for 40 of them. They were clear tubes, and we tied lavender and white(my colors) ribbons on them, along with a little message we typed out.

For hair, you have lots of options. There are several salons on Disney property, or you can have someone come to the room instead. There are tons of review on the board about several cosmo people who are great!!

Sorry I can't help with more, but there are so many friendly Disney brides here that you'll get so much valuable information!

Happy planning! :)

We are using afterhours. I believe the tuxes we were looking at would cost around 500 and some change for a groom and four groomsmen! I dont think they deliver, but there is an afterhours about ten minutes away from Disney where you can pick them up!

We are using lisa from www.lisasmagicalweddings.com for hair!

I think the bubbles range from $2.95 and up per piece depending on how elaborate you go and if you want to add a tag. I am making my own which saves a lot of money!
I was goign to use Afterhours, but due to delivery/fitting conflicts went with Carolyn Allens (they are an After Hours distributer). Even with all the savings and such AfterHours offered, it added up quickly. We are paying around $137 with tax from CA. Tux prices are expensive, but I don't know of anyone who is cheaper. At least both places deliver!
Hope this helps!

Thank you everyone, your answers do help.

I am using Beauty Speciale for my bridal party. But I have aunts and cousins who want to get there hair done. I do not want them to use the same people, because we will be getting ready. So I wanted to see if anyone could recommend a spa or salon at WDW.

I think I will probably do the bubbles myself.

Favors can be brought in from the outside. The caterer people at your site can put up to 3 things per guest on the table free. If anyting more you have to pay Rosie (florist) to put it up $75/hour, I think.

As for guests hair, go to this website relaxedyet.com. It's the website for all WDW spas and salons. There is no prices for hair, but you can email each salon to get a price range to inform your guests. I know Periwigs will even do your hair, not sure about for MK shoot, but they can do updos.

About the tuxes, yeah the girls get to keep theirs, but to own tuxes are around $300 for the least expensive. I mean how many times do you need a tux, and the fit is more extensive, so in the long run the guys pay less and don't have to have an alterations fit it.

I am not sure about flower girl baskets

Good luck

i am useing after hours and they are about 60-80 dollars but, if you have 4 the groom gets his free also yes they will pick up and drop off.

i would use one of the hair pople on the sheet that they gave from disney they seem to do well. there is a thread about which to use. or the cut and color room in crossroads is great i use them for my normal hair things

Oohh thanks for the website info. I will check that out!:thumbsup2

The flower girl basket is $55, including flowers. The price may vary depending on which basket you pick. The bubbles are $2.75 each, and can be purchased MUCH cheaper at Michael's or any other craft store. We originally had it in the budget, but cut it out right away. Good luck!
