We'll be visiting DLP in October as part of a week long trip to Paris during our Half term (16th - 20th October).

3 questions - 1. Will 2 days be enough? 2. How crowded will it be midweek? ( I think we have half term the week before the majority of England?) 3. Does DLP do anything for Halloween? IS it just the week of Halloween?

Sorry - so many Q's!!!:)

As a seasoned WDW visitor 2 days might be enough, but I'd suggest at least 3 days to get the best of both parks.
Mid-week should be considerable quieter, but Halloween season is popular.
Great news that Halloween season runs from 7th October - 5th November :)

 Another Maleficent fan
By the time you go all the halloween decorations will be up, they're up from the beginning of the month. We went early October 2004 and midweek, the park was very quiet. The big Halloween party only takes place on Halloween itself, but there's lots going on in Frontierland or was when we were there. Various acts on the Spiderweb stage, lots of spooky characters wandering around the land and there were special night time shows on stage at the Village. In the park there was lots going on for the kids face painting and hair makeovers, trick or treating, pinatas, etc. :goodvibes
We loved Halloween and the season's got lots of fans, have a read of this thread, the information's a little sketchy at the moment, but it appears there might be some changes this year.

In 2 days midweek I would imagine you'll be able to do almost everything - I'm not the best person to ask about that every time we go - we stay a little longer. :confused3

Forgot to say the Disney Villains parade is superb, make sure you get to see it and you're almost bound to meet Maleficent wandering around the park during your visit. :bounce:

Cath, I would second Reid's advice and suggest that you allow 3 days if you can. :)

The halloween theming is wonderful at DLP, we love this time of year. It can be very busy in half term week, but it's bearble midweek. :)
