Hi everyone! My name is Deva (day-va) and I am 19. I am applying for the Fall Advantage 2012 dcp and just have a few questions!
1. What is the average amount that you normally spend on groceries per week?
2. When do you move in for Fall Advantage?
3. How much money should I bring with me before I move in?
4. My top three jobs are:
a. Front Desk Ticket Operations
b. Cast Costuming
c. Vacation Planning
d. Merchandise
5. What do the costumes look like for these and does anyone know what the average pay is?

1. What is the average amount that you normally spend on groceries per week?
It honestly depends on what your other roommates decide to get to share. We had 6 people in our apartment, and there was barely enough room for things in the fridge.

2. When do you move in for Fall Advantage?
Not too sure about this, I worked Spring 2010.

3. How much money should I bring with me before I move in?
Enough to stock your stuff for the fridge, and the initial things you realize you need when you get down there. :P

c. Vacation Planning
d. Merchandise

I know merch usually has vests with a shirt and pants (depending on where you end up), Ticketing is the same, along with VP. Not too sure about cast costuming, at all.

1. What is the average amount that you normally spend on groceries per week?

I usually spend about $35-$40/week on groceries. I cook a lot though, and don't buy much of the expensive snacks (poptarts, cookies, etc. etc.)

2. When do you move in for Fall Advantage?

No idea. Maybe June-ish? They'll give you a series of dates to choose from though.

3. How much money should I bring with me before I move in?

Depends on how cheap you are. I could barely make it on $120 cash when I first came down here. But to be comfortable I'd say at least $200. It also depends on if you need to buy bedding, if you have a car, if you need name brand cleaners, etc. etc.

4. My top three jobs are:
a. Front Desk Ticket Operations
b. Cast Costuming
c. Vacation Planning
d. Merchandise

My favorite three would be Merch as number one (it's the only one of those I've actually worked personally) and then Vacation Planning (get to sit in air conditioning all day and free entrance to all the hard ticket events in MK like the Christmas Party and Halloween party, plus opportunities to get points and extra money) and then Cast Costuming (sooooo cool the things you see there)

5. What do the costumes look like for these and does anyone know what the average pay is?

Vacation Planners wear an orange colorful vest that changes with the season and black pants. Most roles requires black dress shoes or just black shoes with no logos. However, they will provide the rest of the costume. Most roles depend on location more than role, though.

Hope that helps!

i believe the current rate of pay is $7.25 an hour. Our DS is an intern now, and he says they (he and his roommates) are always hungry and broke !! Course, he has never been one to live within a budget !! Good luck
