Questions on Point Transfer to another member

If I have a 100 pt. contract at Copper Creek with April Use year and points as follow:

April 2020 - 100 points (banked from April 2019)
April 2021 - 200 points (100 points banked from April 2020 & 100 points from April 2021)

and my niece has 100 pt. contract at Copper Creek with June UY.

My questions:

- Can I transfer points coming in April 2021 to my niece even though I still have banked points? Or can I transfer banked points too?

- Assuming she wants to reserve a deluxe studio for one week requiring 183 point (25 points per night on Sun - Thurs and 29 points per night on Fri - Sat) If I'm allowed to transfer 83 points to her, would she be able to book one whole week (183 points) in one reservation? Or she needs to use her 100 point for one reservation (Sun-Wed) and use my 83 transfer points for another reservation (Thur-Fri-Sat).

- If I were to have a June UY, would that make any difference?

You can not transfer banked points so you can only transfer the April 2021 UY from what you listed above,

Once she has them, she can book them with her own points to book a trip...since they are the same resort.

The only thing is that any banked or borrowed points she has in her account will need to be used before she can use the ones you send her,

The points you send her will retain their April UY, so she can use them for any trips April 2021 to March 31st, 2022...unless she banks them after you transfer to her...then she can use them April 2022 to end of March 2023.

She won't be able to borrow the transferred points, so her trip would need to be between April 1, 2021 and March 31, 2022. Unless she banked them to April 1, 2022 until March 31, 2023.

You can transfer your 100 April, 2021 points right now.

DVC Members are allowed to transfer to/from their current and next Use Year. At this time all Members are in their 2020 Use Year and could transfer (current - not banked) points from their 2020 and 2021 Use Years to any other member.

On February 1, 2021 a Member could transfer their Feb/2022 UY points but only to another Member with a February Use Year as all other Members would still be in their 2020 Use Year and unable to accept points from a 2022 Use Year.

I suspect there have been times when MS has allowed transfers beyond the published limitations so it can't hurt to try to transfer to/from someone earlier.
