Questions on Pal Mickey???

I have seen these in the parks the last few times we have been there. My confusion is what happens when you get home with Pal Mickey?
Can you still play the games that it indicates and if I bought one this year, will it still do all the stuff next year and so on..Thanks.

Yes, he still plays the games and tells his jokes anywhere you take him.

The original (Classic) Pal Mickey (we have one from 2 years ago) still works great every time we bring him back to WDW parks. The info is "downloaded' every time you carry him into the entrance of a park (so make sure his NOSE is not covered when you enter).

The NEW "50th Anniv". Pal Mickey will have a few (minor) electronic upgrades, but his real difference will be in the WARDROBE dept.
In the summer he will have some different outfits he can change into.
So if you want the "new" Pal Mickey or the Classic... they both will work in the parks to keep you updated and entertained, and he will work at home as a cute little talking souvenir.

How much is pal Mickey?

The original price for the classic Pal Mickey was $60. They've been selling it at the Character Warehouses in Orlando and St. Augustine for $27 since at least December. I don't know if there are any price changes to the anniversary edition though.
