Questions on ECV

does anyone know the most affordable place to rent ECV? and are they transportable in and out of cars? and do they come in wide (I am wide

I've never used an ECV before, but I have a bad ankle, and i've done something to the calf muscle in my other leg, so I am considering it, much as I am loathe to feel like I need one ;-(

Hi and to disABILITIES!

If you click on where it says "disABILTIES" at the top of this page it will take you to the Index. One of the top items is the "disABILTIES FAQ" which will gives lots of useful information. Post #2 gives informaiton about the off-site locations, which are definietly better and less expensive than Disney.

THe prices tend to be fairly close. Usually they will ask height and weight to be able to get the best fit for you. Randy's will deliver directly to the room after you have arrived and will be able to show you how to disassemble and assemble the ECV. The others will deliver to your Resort Bell Services. However, Post #5 of the FAQ does give information about use of an ECV with a car.

Has anyone ever gotten insurance to over the cost? $200 is a big piece of change :-(
