Hi all

Getting sooo close now :Pinkbounc

Have a few more questions.....

Flying:
1. Do Virgin supply earphones for the TV etc?
2. Do you have the games console thingy on Virgin flights out of Gatwick?
3. Can you get some sort of ear plugs to help with the air pressure or are boiled sweets just as effective?
4. How long does it take to get through immigration @ orlando?

Park Entry
1. Do you get some form of ID to prove that you are an on site guest?

Thanks guys!

Laura

Hi Laura
1)Yes they do supply ear phones and the seat back entertainment is great :D
2)we went in Oct last year on the 11.15am flight i think it was vos28 our plane was called "hot lips" but no it did'nt have the games console :(
3)they give you ear plugs in the pack that they give you but i found Wine Gums did the job.
4)i can't remember but it did'nt seem long about 1/2hr-1hr

Can't help you with the last question we did'nt stay on sight
:earsgirl:

Each time we've used EE we have had to either use our room key with tickets applied or show our room key as well as tickets if they were separate. You will need to have both (or the one if they're combined) at all times, even at the resort pool as they do ask to see them.

You can get some special inserts for your ears - they are called EARPLANES and are available from Boots :)

If you stay onsite you get a room key card (looks like a credit card), that will act as proof your are staying onsite. If you go for EE you will be asked to show your room key at the turnstiles. All members of your party will get a room key and you get the option of adding charging privileges to enable you to charge purchases and meals within WDW back to your room.
If you have length of stay passes, your room key will also act as your park ticket.

Earplanes were good, used them many a time. Due to my ear being ok now i dont get any popping.

It is entirely possible Hot Lips could be one of the two 744's flying from Manchester to Orlando from May this year.

Laura, I have heard earplanes are invaluable too. A friend's daughters have narrow ear canals (or something like that) and have suffered badly on flights previously. They tried these and were wonderful on their last trip to Florida.

We have stayed in a Disney hotel last summer and the parks were happy with those as proof of styaing on-site.

I'm going to get the earplanes @ the weekend! I can live with the pressure but this will be DD's first time flying..she has suffered badly with ear infections (calmed down over the past couple of years) and would hate for her to have a bad experience the first time she flies!

Thanks again :)
