Questions on borrowing and transferring

My parents have been DVC members since March of 2005 owning at SSR with 170 points. We know about banking and borrowing, but now that I am a new DVC member at AKV with 200 points, we need to know more about transferring. If anyone can answer any of my questions, I would really appreciate it.

1.) Transferring Option 1: Can we do this? My parents have a September use year at SSR and currently have 94 points for September 2008. They will get 170 points in September 2009. I have 200 points at AKV which I will receive in December 2008. We plan on taking a trip in May-June of 2009 in a 2 bedroom most likely at AKV. We plan on using all of my parents points (94 + 170 borrowed = 264) and the rest from me (which would be about 86 points if we did a 2br at AKV for 8 nights). Can we take all of my parents points, from this year and borrowed, and put them into my account? We wanted to do it this way in case we don't get AKV and end up getting another resort. That way, we wouldn't have to know how many points exactly I would need to put into their account.

Transferring Option 2: If this doesn't work, can I give them 86 points and then they use my 86 points combined with their 94 from this year, along with 170 of theirs borrowed from next year?

2.) If we have to do the second option and we end up doing any other resort (BCV for instance which would be 2 points less) what would happen to those 2 extra points? Can my parents bank them now that they're in their account? I'm pretty sure they can't be transferred back to me now that I've already transferred them. Or would they just expire? And would these points expire by (or have to be banked 4 months prior to ) September or December?

3.) If our points are combined, which of the two resorts can be booked 11 months out? Or would it be both/none? This question might not even matter because by the time I get all my information and everything paid in full, it will probably already be 7 months out (end of October). But it's good to know anyway.

4.) Does anyone know what our chances look like right now for a 2 bedroom at AKV (Savanna View) for 8 nights at end of May - beginning of June? We would probably have to book at around 7 months out.

I'm sorry that this is so long and confusing, but I haven't received any information on this kind of stuff in the mail yet, and I wouldn't know where my parents keep their information. I would like to know so that we know what we're doing when we book our trip within the next few weeks. If anyone could help me with any of these questions, I would appreciate it!

I'm not so sure banked points can be transfered. I do know transfered points can be banked, but I don't think it works the other way around.

Since you are already near the 7 month booking window, why not just have your parents book the reservation for you with the number of points you need to use from them, and you book the remainder of the reservation with your points and have the two ressies linked by MS. Each group of points retains it's original home resort, so their points would have SSR 11 month advantage and yours would AKV 11 month advantage.

I think your chances at 7 months will be fine, since there will be new inventory at AKV in May.
