I have never tried this resturant before and this July I will be checking it out for the first time. I have two quick questions though, is Cinderella and the Fairy Godmother there each night? Also what do you recommend good on the menu?

The Fairy Godmother was in the lobby when we went...she was not there when we checked in, but she was there when we left. Cinderella, Prince Charming, Suzy and Perla (the mice) are the regular characters. I would think Cinderella would always be there, as the meal is called "Cinderella's Gala Feast", but I guess there could be some kind of problem where they had to put someone else in.

It was a buffet, there were a lot of things to choose from. We didn't care for most of the food. It wasn't bad, there was nothing wrong with it, it just wasn't for us.

Have a great time!

Steph

The fairy godmother was there in the lobby when we arrived and Belle was there in the lobby when we left. The kids buffet offerings seem to be more extensive than other buffets. The strawberry soup was yummy!

We enjoyed 1900 ParkFare, they have prime rib. lasagna, mashed sweet & red potatoes(very tasty!) & much more to choose from. They have a kids buffet (adults are welcome to get food off it also) that has chicken nuggets mac & cheese, pizza & few other selections. Try the strawberry soup, it is delicious!! The desserts are very good as well. :earsboy:

Thank you so much everyone. I am really looking forward to this character dinner the most :) I think I've done all the other ones in the parks now except LTT.

Dania, I don't know if you like pasta but the also have a pasta bar with different pastas and sauces. Quite tasty. Another vote for the strawberry soup, they also have it on the breakfast buffet! It's similar to a melted strawberry shake. The prime rib is good, as were the sweet potato mash, mashed sweet and redskin potatoes, sounds nasty but th eredskins actually keep it from being too sweet and the sweet potatoes keep it from being too bland. Too bad no one in my family would try it! Enjoy. We were there in April and never saw the Fairy Godmother, but th e other characters were there.

Honestly we like this dinner better than Cindy's breakfast in the castle! (Well, except for the castle thing. LOL) I wouldn't have even tried (and ultimately failed-oh well) to get CRT for this past trip but for it being a birthday trip for my youngest who is WAY into the princesses and wanted to eat at the castle. But comparing them- I prefer the dinner. The food is better (and I can get what I want and how much I want without waiting to be served) IMO and really feel like we get more time with the characters at Park Fare than the breakfast we did at CRT back Nov 2003. The characters just zipped by like rushed at CRT then.
