here are a few that I thought of trying to get to sleep last night ~

Does anyone know the cost for dry cleaning on board? I need to send a couple of my DH shirts and his tux. It would be easier to just bring them dirty.

The drink mugs / card when you purchase it for $35 is that the total cost or is the 15% added to it?

I was reading over my documents and it says no coolers, drinks or food brought on board. I thought it was okay to bring a soft sided (enough for a 6 pk). Also, I really wanted to bring some vanilla coke. Is it one of those rules that everyone breaks? I surely don't want to be pulled out of line to have my soft drinks confiscated! My DH would kill me  ;)

thanks, be patient ~ I am certain I'll have more questions

would get the tux cleanned at home, can be quite costly u still have enough time.... i believe the cost for the mug is $35.00
and that is it.... and u r allowed to carry on the coke ............

You are allowed to bring a soft sided cooler on board. Your cabin steward will even put ice in it for you. On our 7 day we took a rolling soft sided collapsible cooler with no problem. You will see others carrying on cases of soda and beer.

We didn't use the dry cleaning but heard it was expensive. Didn't buy the mugs either because we brought our own. You can bring the drinks you brought on board up on deck with you. Just no glass.

Hi,
I know someone had the dry cleaning price list posted somewhere. From what I can remember the prices were about the same as home (Boston). I packed a few things to be cleaned so I would not have to deal with the ironing when I get there. Why pay to have it cleaned here, then have to iron it when you get there. I also plan on sending quite a bit of stuff out to be pressed. (The cost is 1/2 of the dry cleaning charge) My bags have been packed since 11/26 (no I am not crazy was on the 11/30 sailing and I REFUSED to pack again) I am not sure what shape my clothes will be in so I will send them out. I think its worth the few extra bucks. Laurie

On my last cruise I had my tux dry cleaned on the ship. It only cost $7 which is not much more than at my dry cleaners at home.

I also "snatched" a copy of the dry cleaning list. Here is a summary.

Pants $4.25
Jackets $4.50
2 piece suit $7.00
Shirts $3.50
Ties $2.00
Evening Dress $8.00
Skirt $4.50
Blouses $4.00

They also have laundry prices

Shirts $3.00
Pants $3.50
Short Pans $2.50

There is a "pressing only" service at 50% of dry cleaning cost.

Regular Service is next day by 5 pm
Same day service add 50% of dry cleaning (picked up before 9am and returned by 5 PM)
Express Service add 100% of dry cleaning (call for pickup, returned in 3 hours)

I should have known you guy's would come through for me!!! Dave you are the best!

The prices are about the same here at home. I don't know why I never thought of doing this before. It doesn't make much since to have it pressed here, pack it and then iron it once on board

thanks again everyone!
