Questions from a DVC wannabe...

Hi everyone! I have been reading your posts for a couple of weeks and want to thank you all for your great information!

I need some help with just the right info to convince my husband, who is not quite as Disney Delighted as our daughter and myself. (Daughter's BF just bought at SSR yesterday, and I am jealous!)

What is Hilton Head like? I see the book mentions a beach overlook or something like that, is it nice? I know hubby will like Vero Beach, cause he's a beach fan. (That way we can have our Disney "fix", and hubby can have his beach break....)

One more question - is there any sort of room service available at SSR? I know that in the moderate resorts you used to be able to get pizza delivery, but I would think with the kitchenette they probably dont have that. Also - is the housekeeping thing I've read here a big issue, or an isolated few incidents?

When we were at SSR there was no room service, but you could order pizza. I think it was Pizza Hut, perhaps Papa John's, I'm not quite sure, but I remember seeing delivery vehicles.

I'm not sure what you mean about housekeeping. We had no problems when we were there. While I can't speal to that directly, I can say that many of the people here who complain, shouldn't. Surely they don't keep their own houses that spotless? I mean, complaining because of black marks on a table? Puleeze!
