I should know better, but I don't, so here we go:

How do you know when it's EE and who is eligible for it? I want to try to avoid the parks on those days. Does DCA have EE? I have an annual pass, and we're getting discounted tickets for my DH through a friend. Do I qualify for EE?
And what is Toon Town Madness? I don't think I'd want to go for that either.

We're thinking about going on Dec 10-11 (Mon-Tues). Has anyone been around this time? We usually go the very first week in Dec when there are no crowds to be found. It's awesome.

You guys are the best! :)

EE is available to anyone who has purchased a 3 day or more parkhopper pass OR is staying at any of the three DLR property hotels. So, the only way you would have access to EE as an AP holder is if you are staying at one of the property hotels.

EE is currently held on Mon, Tues, Thurs and Sat.

TTMM is a separate perk that gets you into Toontown 1 hour prior to when it is scheduled to open. They have a little ceremony with the characters and then you are first in line to get autographs and go through Micky and Minnie's houses or go on the two rides in TT. This perk only comes with packages sold through WDTC and other companies like Costco and AAA that go through WDTC. However, you often find these tickets on ebay.

HTH.

EE is not like at WDW, it doesn't impact the crowds. You're either there an hour early or you're not. I wouldn't worry about it.

I thought I read EE was Tues, Thurs, Sun and Monday. Am I wrong?

Yep, you're wrong. :goodvibes

There have been rumors that they MAY change the EE days in 2008, however, the EE days have been Mon, Tues, Thurs and Sat for the last several years.

This is a very important fact for WDW vets to know. & I agree with this comment.

(That week, mon, tues & wed. should be the best days for visiting...EE or not.)

But i would add that if visiting on Mon. 10th & Tues. the 11th, you might want to AVOID Fantasyland, SM (& Nemo) at your Gen. Adm. rope drop, as the EE folks will already be there clogging up the FL rides. (& probably hound & hound jr. who will be riding with Toadie & defeating the evil Zurg. :hippie: ).

Might want to head to the left side of the park after picking up a FP at SM or Indy at your Gen. Adm. 9 am rope drop. (& work FL & SM/Nemo & Buzz in later in the day & with FP).

Have fun. :thumbsup2

Thanks for all the info. We'll be doing DCA on Sunday the 9th and DL on Mon the 10th. I have to head over to DL on Sun morning first (rope drop at 8am, but I think Main Street will be open???) to get my AP, then meet my DH and DS in DCA.

As far as Monday goes, I'm thinking Nemo might be out of the question. My son can only wait about 15 minutes before getting pretty cranky. (he's only 15 months old) We'll just play it by year.

Thanks all.

It is really weird that the disney website has Sunday listed instead of Saturday...

in certain circumstances such as private events and private parties where the park is closed early for any reason on any EE day(high seasons), they do actually do make Sunday an EE day.
