Questions for Trip Planning

Starting to plan for a June 2019 trip. There are 10 of us, my son and his wife and kids, age 7 and 4, my daughter and her husband, kids age 6 and 4, and my wife and I.

We've done a grand villa before. We don't have the points for this time of year. My plan is to get a studio plus a 2br. I'll be using what 2018 points I have, 2019 points, and borrowing into 2020. Here are my questions:

1. We stayed in standard view on our first trip back in 2005. I thought it was fine for the lesser number of points. How hard is it to get the standard views?
2. Will I be able to get these two units close to each other? The last time I made the request, they weren't as close as we would have liked. We know which family is staying in the studio.
3. Is it possible to get the doors keyed so that all adults can access the 2br?

Any other advice regarding getting the reservation would be appreciated.

The fewer number of rooms in a category, the harder it is to get two.

All you can do is place a "traveling with" on both reservations. If rooms are not available during your dates close to each other then there is nothing that can be done.

No, but you can put an adult on that rooms reservation to get a key.

Where are you planning on booking? BWV or BLT standard would be harder to book than AKV standard or SSR standard.

When you book just get the studio first and don't bother getting all the names in. Then book the two bedroom once you have the studio secured. Then you can go back and add names. Just put one name on the studio and go back and add the rest of the names afterward in an email to MS.

Then go back and add the "traveling with", too.
