hello.

I searched through about 10 pages before posting to make sure nobody had asked this yet. I didn't see anything.

Online check-in begins tomorrow for our upcoming 7-night Fantasy cruise in April and I was curious about a couple of things concerning ticketed activities.
1. Can I register for ticketed princess meet & greets through online check in?
2. Is there going to be a character breakfast on my cruise and can i get tickets online if so?
3. Our port arrival time will not be until 12:30, am I going to miss valuable time for obtaining these tickets if I wait to get them when we arrive?

This is our first Disney Cruise so our online registration is 75 days in advance, I want to make sure I get it done right so we don't miss anything.

You can reserve both princesses and character breakfast online. Yes, there will be a character breakfast.

I would encourage you to book online as there have been reports that tickets are not held back for when people are on board.

1- Yes for Frozen and the Princesses.
2- Yes. It's Disney Jr (plus one or two fab five) and you can book it online
3- Availability is limited for those events so grab them now. There's no reason to wait until boarding. There's so much to do on embarkation day that you don't want to worry about that.

If you're concerned that you may actually wind up not doing any of those activities, I'd still suggest getting the reservations ahead of time. And then going to the Port Adventures desk to cancel them once onboard, if that's your decision.

Who is at the character Breakfast? It is only going to be my husband and myself as its our 35th anniversary vacation, would we look really out of place there with no kids if we decided to go? I'm kinda on the fence about this, l feel like we would be taking away a spot for little ones.

It's the Disney Jr characters plus Mickey.

In Europe, it's four of the Fab fives and it's Disney Jr plus Mickey the rest of the time. I've never seen adult-only tables except a few with Japanese guests really into characters. The same guests had their Mickey ears throughout the cruise and were at all the character meets.

Honestly, when my husband and I cruise alone we skip the character breakfast. We do attend when we travel with the grandkids, but the interaction is so quick its ridiculous. Barely enough time to snap a picture. The characters give much better attention in the regular meet and greets.

If it was Europe, I'd be all over it. You paid for your cruise too!!

But for Disney Jr. characters? Pass for me.

I think we will pass, l don't even know who the Disney Jr characters are.
Also consider that the menu is not very varied and/or good, at least compared to what we get at Cabana's.

On our recent cruise, we asked our son if he wanted to go and he said yes even if he hadn't watch a Disney Jr in quite a while. Afterwards, he said he would have preferred a breakfast at Cabana's. We won't be going back next time

We cruised the Fantasy last month. To answer your questions:
1. Yes.
2. Yes and yes.
3. Don't count on anything being available onboard. They might hold some spots for onboard booking, but might not. Book online if they're available, & if they're not at 75 days, then try to book onboard immediately upon boarding. You can arrive earlier than 12:30 (even with your PAT), & will likely be able to get on the ship earlier than 12:30pm.

Mickey Mouse appears at the character breakfast, too, very dressed up.

Still. I would feel really weird with all the Disney Junior characters - and rude to be like "I just want Mickey".

They appear in succession, not all at once, so it's easy just to smile & wave at the others, but later get your photo taken only with Mickey. Jake the Pirate is appropriately cruise-themed, btw.

He does, but the interaction is no better than what you get at a M&G, and there are plenty of those with Mickey in different outfits during the cruise. I would do one of them and get a better breakfast at Cabana's instead.

That's always an option. However, part of the appeal of a character breakfast, especially for families, is that you can kill two birds with one stone by getting breakfast while you also get to meet "the big guy" (as my son calls him), without having to wait for a long time in line.
