We are going in November with my 6 year old son. He is not the norm and likes to be carried and is a lazy butt. We are going to get a stroller for him because I know he is not going to want to walk around disney.
My unofficial guide said that on average you walk 18 miles a day in WDW.

Ok so everyone has raised a valid point, and we live in FL south of WDW so we are fully aware of the oppressive humidity and 100 deg. temps. so we might rent a stroller however I'm still having issues with our stroller being stolen while we ate lunch so any suggestions on how to prevent that if I do rent one? It was such a hassle to get another one!!
