I prefer a patio because I like to slip out in the early a.m. for a swim and slip back in without going through the halls. That's me. But I do think a 3rd floor balcony is a *little* more private, especially if you face a common area.

I don't know which building is quietest, but Tikiman would! It seems to me like there is a little noise everywhere. If I can't be near the pool, I like Tuvalu, looking out over the water. To me, that's the most peaceful. But, I haven't had every single view available, lol. I'll bet Tikiman has.
