Hello!

It is snowing here so I am spending time today figuring out which tickets to buy for our Sept/Oct 2005 trip. I would like to have an idea and begin preparing to buy them! We have 6 in our family. 2 adults and 4 children. We camp at FW for 2 weeks. Last year I bought the Fun In The Sun tickets and we loved them. I really like the option of being able to go when and where we choose.

I am now looking at the Magic Your way Tickets. They would be cheaper than the FITS tickets but not much. The FITS tickets are good for 29 days so we could use these as "premium annual passes" for the entire time we were there. The 10 day magic your way ticket w/ 5 options would be $295/adult. We would loose some of the options if we did not use them unless we paid $100 more for no expiration.

I just checked out SOG prices and they run about $20/ticket cheaper. Not bad!

Now I am wondering if we would be better off with annual passes and using them twice.

Questions:
1) We used a military discount for FW last year, what do you think the chance they will offer the discount again this fall?

2) Has anyone ever used a AP discount on a campsite?

3) Can you buy the APs at any military base or just at SOG

Sorry for the long post!

SOG is the only place that sells the military APs.

AP discounts are getting very hard to get at the Ft. Wilderness campsites.
