4. What do you like least or is hardest about your way of eating?

5. Is this a way of eating you can stick with the rest of your life?

6. What is your primary form of exercise?

And I'll answer my own questions: :D

1. Weight Watchers

2. Started February 6, 2003 and lost 9.8 lbs. so far

3. I like this plan because I feel like I am eating healthy food, I am learning portion control, I have a ton more energy, and I have the motivation of knowing I have to weigh in each week! I also like that the requirement is fruits and/or veggies and I'm not absolutely required to eat a lot of veggie since I don't like them very much.

4. The hardest thing sometimes IS the portion control! Some days I'm really hungry and eating a ton of zero point veggies isn't my idea of fun food to fill up on! Also the financial aspect of paying to attend the meetings can be a challenge. And drinking enough water is hard for me, but that would be the same with any plan.

5. I hope so. I imagine it will get harder as I lose weight and am allotted less points per day. I guess it remains to be seen if I can do it long term! But I feel like I can.

6. My primary souce of exercise is workout videos and occasionally going for a walk (will do that more when the weather is a little warmer).

Okay, who's next????

1. What weight loss plan are you on, or are you not on any particular plan?
I am eating low carb -- similar to Atkins

2. How long have you been on a weight loss program and how much weight and/or inches have you lost?
I started on June 17, 2002 and have lost 25 pounds to date. I've strayed often - or would have lost much more by now.
3. What do you like best or find easiest about this way of eating?
No need to count calories or points. I just eat what feels best for me and I don't get hungry so I don't overeat

4. What do you like least or is hardest about your way of eating?
As soon as you go off track the cravings occur again. I am a sugar addict and can't have just 'one' and have it go away again. Since the holidays it's been hard for me to get back on track

5. Is this a way of eating you can stick with the rest of your life?
YES it is! I feel so free that I've finally found what works for me. Yes, I've gotten off track a bit -- but know it works for me and know it is a way of eating that is do-able for me for life.

6. What is your primary form of exercise?
-- None YET -- have to work on that one!

Ok!

1. Not on any plan. My own healthy eating combined with the SIZE diet. Portion size, Exer size, and fanti size. I keep my total plate portion to no larger than what I can old in the palm of my hands. I try to exercise every day for an hour. I also use visualization techniques. The single number one most important thing I do is eat at home. Eating out in the Midwest is dangerous business!

2. I've been working on maintaining a heathy lifestyle since DH was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, (1 year ago this month) though I've always had that "last 5 lbs. to lose." I now have about 6 sets of those to lose, so now it's time to stay focused. I have lost 13 lbs on this "plan" in 3 months, but gained it back plus some after my Inlaws returned home from Florida and I was WEAK. That combined with the holidays, (Spent with my Inlaws), and my week on the MAGIC, proved more than I could bear! But I know I can do this, and if I fall off, I get back in it.

3. What I like best is it is something I can do for the rest of my life, I don't feel I'm giving anything up and I'm actually learning how to cook and I enjoy what I eat a whole lot more.

4. The hardest part is when I'm eating with other people, particularly family, who don't understand how I can eat "that stuff". If I'm with either my or DH's family for protracted periods of time, I succumb to my old habits. The other hard part is if things get busy, its hard to focus on ones health, but I suppose that is true in all things.

5. See #3:p

6. I do power yoga, walking and various workout videos, but I really enjoyed using the elliptical trainer at the gym, that has since closed, so i'm feeling a bit lost right now. :( Maybe they'll sell it to me cheap when they broom out their equipment.

1. What weight loss plan are you on, or are you not on any particular plan? I am not on a formal plan at this point. I have tried them all and have been most successful with low calorie diets. I love fruit and veggies too much to limit them with a low carb. diet. I've been eating Special K with berries and low fat milk for breakfast, a Smart One's lunch and a sensible dinner (sometimes another WW Smart One's meal).

2. How long have you been on a weight loss program and how much weight and/or inches have you lost? I started 1/31 (although I was sick one week and lost even through I ate). I have lost 11 pounds as of this morning.

3. What do you like best or find easiest about this way of eating? By eating pre-made meals, I have a lot of choices.

4. What do you like least or is hardest about your way of eating? Making regular meals for my family and not eating them. I hope to learn to limit enough in the next few months that I will be able to eat what they eat, in moderation.

5. Is this a way of eating you can stick with the rest of your life? No, I will need to learn to eat all types of food in moderation (and not just eat WW Meals) and limit my sugar (not completely do away with it as I'm doing now)..

6. What is your primary form of exercise? No formal exercise at this point. My plan is to start walking this week if it ever warms up!

1. What weight loss plan are you on, or are you not on any particular plan?

No particular plan for me. I followed a program in Muscle and Fitness several years ago that worked for me, so I am trying it again (from memory). Eating 4-5 meals a day, watching my fat intake, eating more protien and less carbs.

2. How long have you been on a weight loss program and how much weight and/or inches have you lost?

Since about the beginning of Feb. I am not very strict, so I do indulge here and there. The weight is coming off, but slowly. I think I've lost about 4 pounds, but the scale just says 3. My clothes are fitting better and my body looks firmer (phew!) so I think the muscle gain is interferring with the results on the scale. :)

3. What do you like best or find easiest about this way of eating?

I love structure, so I enjoy eating the same thing every day. I also like having my "cheat days" so I don't feel like I am depriving myself. Also, this is something I plan to do for the rest of my life and I can really see that happening. I'm in it for the long haul.

4. What do you like least or is hardest about your way of eating?

I just wish I was seeing dramatic weight loss! :) I get discouraged when the scale doesn't budge, but I know I need to give it time!

5. Is this a way of eating you can stick with the rest of your life?

Yes, yes, yes! :)

6. What is your primary form of exercise?

Power walking. I hope to build up to jogging again and be really consistent with weight training.

1. What weight loss plan are you on, or are you not on any particular plan? Atkins

2. How long have you been on a weight loss program and how much weight and/or inches have you lost? I started in July 2001...but was off the diet most of last year only gaining 10 lbs...now back on full force to take off 20 lbs. I weighed just over 200 pounds, ad wore a size 22 pants.

3. What do you like best or find easiest about this way of eating? I am a meat eater, so this is not to bad for me

4. What do you like least or is hardest about your way of eating?I love carbs...not sweets and sugar could do w/o them, but I miss my pasta, rice and bread :(

5. Is this a way of eating you can stick with the rest of your life? Yes, I can with modifications I can

6. What is your primary form of exercise? bad question right now as I can not get motivated to start, but I am going to join the "Y"
