What 's the best time to book for cafe mickey's? I heard that some times are better for characters than others.
Also does anyone know how busy it is likely to be 16-19 dec? (this is probs a daft question but crowd levels never really occured to me when we booked it! lol!)
and also whats actually at belles xmas village?

We went to Cafe Mickeys in june about 7:30pm or 8pm cant remmeber which but it wasnt really busy and there was loads or characters coming in and out every half hour or so.
I would also like to know more about belles village?and the xmas markets in the disney village, what its like, what do they sell etc?

Belles Village is a lovely little area of cute stalls and shops, mainly selling treats such as pastries and the like. The best bit about it is that a few times a day, Belle and her dancers appear in a small courtyard area and do a small 10 minute show with singing and dancing. Theres a show in French and in English and as she wears the beautiful red and gold dress it is a lovely thing to come across.

In terms of Cafe Mickey...we have always booked for around 6-7pm, and have had loads of characters.

there are always lots of characters but if you want a quiet time I would go for 12pm when they open for lunch. There were only a couple of other tables occupied when we went at this time and we had some great quality time with Minnie and Mickey who came out first.

Belles xmas village sounds fab! is it true that you can meet other beauty and the beast characters there like gaston? and belle in the red/gold dress- is she just there for the lil show or can you have a pic and stuff with her?

12pm sounds good for cafe mickeys but we dont arrive till 1.30 on the day we're planning on going there so i think we'll book for about 7ish!

I had read somewhere that although Belle's village was still there this year they were not going to have the show that had been on in a previous year when I was there and my daughter was quite upset when I told her. If anyone can clarify for definite whether or not the show is actually on it would be great to know. DD really enjoyed it last time and there was loads of opportunity to meet the Characters like Gaston etc after the show.

I know last time we were there there was a specific meet and greet area for the Beast.

Does anyone know if the show isn't on whether or not the characters are still around the village?

If this is on again this year, does anyone know if they advertise what times the show will be at or do you just hope you're lucky enough to catch it?

The times of the shows were in the park maps you pick up. There were approx 4 shows, about 1 every hour between 12 and 4 pm. DD actually watched it nearly every day we were there last time. I would love it to still be on but I am sure on DLRPmagic Christmas thread I have read that although Belle's village is there there will be no musical medley. I would love to be wrong though!

We booked Cafe Mickey's for 6.30 and it was an ideal time, we were seated upstaors and there were only 2 other families at that time, so character interaction was brilliant, DS was dancing with Genie and Goofy for ages. By the time we left a couple of hours later it was heaving!

I was under the impression that the show wasn't on this year as well.....which is gutting coz I loved it.

We need to get our shuttle so need to have left by 7.30 so was thinking of booking for about 6pm for a last character mad time before we leave DLP.

The other option we're considering is to have a character breakfast on the last day instead, but think the dinner would be nicer in some ways as then we can make the most of the early magic hours!

You could do the late character breakfast so you go into the park for EMH then go for breakfast. This way you can linger then go and check out of the hotel and than enjoy the rest of the time in the park. It means your not continually clock watching as you may be if you had to leave the restaurant to get your shuttle

I think you'd enjoy a breakfast much more too ~ nothing worse than clock-watching. Or perhaps a character lunch at the Lucky Nugget?

Regarding Belle's show ~ I'm also sure I've read that this wasn't going to be on anymore. Shame, it was a lovely show.
