We have decided to book part of vacation at Disneyland hotel and part at the Disney California. We would appreciate any suggestions of where to request rooms etc. Do the rooms at either hotel have refrig? We will be traveling with small children and grandparents. We are also going to need 3 rooms what are our chances of getting near each other? We will be there the beginning of Nov.

I have only recently stayed at the DGC hotel, so the answers for DLH may differ.

There is a mini-bar refridge in the room. It has a small area that is for personal usage. It could probably fit a water bottle are a few
cans of Coke. The only problem with the mini-bar is that if you touch an item in the bar, it is registered as purchased electronicly.
Could be problem with Kids. Unsure if you request no mini-bar, if they empty it or lock the mini-bar.

First time we stayed there I was taking medication that had to be refridgerated. I did not know about the small space in the mini-bar, so I requested a fridge. Since it was for medication, it was free otherwise the cost is $10. It is a small dorm sized fridge.

Make sure you request 3 rooms close together or connecting. Disney generally tries to honor these requests of keeping family together.

As far as the view, at DGC you have a choice of Parkinglot, themepark or courtyard.
The Themepark view varied between Paradise Pier, Grizzle Peak, or Downtown Disney. I can't remember our room numbers.
