Right, i know there are threads dotted aroung about this but can you answer these questions for me so i am clear about stuff

1. If you stay onsite for 1 night you have 2 full days of FOTL access until parks close, is that right?

2. Can you still use hotels facilities (i.e. pools) on your check out day? And are there towels available at the pool?

3. If i leave my other hotel for the night they wont mind(I know that sounds a stupid question!!!) or should i inform them i wont be there that night?

4. Any valuables (i.e.passports, travellors checks etc) i can leave behing front desk rather than in my case if room isnt ready and again when we check out following day?

5.We can upgrade our 1 day tickets to 2 days at park(they wont let us do it online with the people we brought them off!)

6. We can check in around 8am to get our keys even though room not ready but how will we know which room it is and will our luggage be delivered to the room as WDW does?

Sorry for all the questions but ive never done this before and im getting confused(it doesnt take much!!!)

Lisa

Yes to all..:thumbsup2

#4 I would call concierage for that one.I'm not sure..

#6 They have luggage service that will hold it till your room is ready...

I'm sure other posters will answer more with more detail.....

But your going to be amazed with the service they provide there Lisa..Welcome to the darkside!!!!!!!!!!

If they dont hold your money for you can you buy one of those belt thngs that you put on under your clothes so i dont have to put it in lockers whilst on the rides. Has anybody got an email address so i can email and ask them about that?

Thanks for your answers, a bit like WDW hotels im sure ill get hooked!

1. yes

2. yes

3. You don't have to let them know you aren't taying there.

4.I think they have safe deposit boxes in the lobby area.

5. Don't know

6. They will ask for a phone number to call you when your room is ready. They will hold your luggage at the bell station.

Right, i know there are threads dotted aroung about this but can you answer these questions for me so i am clear about stuff

1. If you stay onsite for 1 night you have 2 full days of FOTL access until parks close, is that right?

Correct

2. Can you still use hotels facilities (i.e. pools) on your check out day? And are there towels available at the pool?

correct and yes
the maps of each on site hotel has it marked where towels are available for the pool

3. If i leave my other hotel for the night they wont mind(I know that sounds a stupid question!!!) or should i inform them i wont be there that night?

the other hotel is only interested in your money.
you can hang the do not disturb sign on your doorknob when you leave the other hotel so no maid service will go in your room.
many do it that way.

if you are concerned about having your room empty of people for a time period, you could let the front desk know you will be gone for 24 hours.

you don't have to explain. many guests go offsite and see friends and not stay in their hotel for that night.

in case of fire, it might be good to let the front desk know you will not be in the room on a certain date. in emergencies, the hotel employees must check up on each registered guest for the night.

4. Any valuables (i.e.passports, travellors checks etc) i can leave behing front desk rather than in my case if room isnt ready and again when we check out following day?

Correct. you will have to show proper id in order to retrieve your stuff when you are ready to leave.

5.We can upgrade our 1 day tickets to 2 days at park(they wont let us do it online with the people we brought them off!)

Correct. 2 day tickets are available at the park not online.

6. We can check in around 8am to get our keys even though room not ready but how will we know which room it is and will our luggage be delivered to the room as WDW does?

yes, check in early, get the hotel key which is your fotl pass.
you are given a sheet of paper with a number and special code on it.
when you call, it is an automated service where you have to punch in your code before you are told of your room number.

by pass the desk when you come to your room from the park.
when your room is assigned, it is automatically coded into the hotel keys you have. tell the front desk to have your luggage delivered once your room is assigned. if you don't, call Star Service on your phone when you get to your room. they will call bell hops to bring your luggage to you then.

Sorry for all the questions but ive never done this before and im getting confused(it doesnt take much!!!)

Lisa

we all have been newbies before.
we love to help and hope someday you will be able to pass on the info to others like we do for posters on the threads.
