Questions about Yacht Club Gallery

I just made an ADR for dinner next week at the Yacht Club Gallery. I know nothing about this place...picked it because it was available and we need a table service dinner that day and everything at Epcot was full.

Also, we will be at Epcot that day. We would like to leave for dinner and then come back to Epcot. What is the quickest/best way to get from Epcot to the Yacht Club Gallery?

Walking from the International Gateway is the fastest. Walk past the BC and StormalongBay and turn into the walk to the lobby of the YC. The Yacht Club Galley is just to the right of the lobby.

There is also a boat that will take you close to that walkway but as it first goes to the BW/BWV before going on to Y&BC, walking is faster.

The YC Galley is one of my favorites. It is a family type restaurant with a great menu (I think) for breakfast and dinner. I never ate there for lunch.

It is also a restaurant that you really don't need a reservation. I stayed at the YC last year and had several breakfasts and one or two dinners at the Galley. If you are there for breakfast (which I don't think you are), try the Mickey Mouse pancakes. Wonderful.

For my next visit, at the end of Sept., I will be at the Boardwalk and I plan to cross the lake for breakfast there. I may also go to the Galley for dinner if I decide to cancel one of my ADRs.

And if you get the chance, try the herb-crusted half chicken. M-m-m-m.
