Questions about WL club level?

If you could afford it would you do club level at WL with two young children (ages 3,6)? There are bunkbeds on club level right?
When AP rates are released are there club level rooms in inventory too?
The balcony is enclosed on all these rooms right? Do you think that is a drawback that you cannot sit and look at stuff without standing up?

Any input would be appreciated!

Well, I stayed concierge level in 2005 at the WL. We stayed 'castle side' and the balconies are enclosed. But since you can't see the castle anyway, you can sit comfortably and see the fireworks from the balcony without standing up. Not sure about the bunk beds though.

We did CL with the kids when they were 5&6 and again at 7&8.

I don't think that you can guarantee bunk beds on CL, but I do think there are some rooms with them.

Sorry, can't help you about the AP rates!

We had a great view of the castle from our room, but the kids had to stand on chairs to see it b/c of the enclosed balcony.

Thanks guys! Does anyone else know if for sure you can book a bunkbed/concierge room?
Can an Annual Pass rate be applied (if there is one for the dates i go)?
Those who have done this with kids, did you wish the balcony was not enclosed? Was it too stuffy for little kids there or was it great because you didn't have to be visiting Roaring Forks so often?

We enjoy Wilderness Lodge. When we were on the first floor our balcony was open to the little stream. We weren't there enough to be on the balcony, though. We did like Roaring Forks. This is one thing we wish YC/BC had and one reason we come back to WL. We didn't find though, that concierge replaced our need to visit Mara at AKL or Roaring Forks at WL. The offerings are way too different. So we did both.

As far as concierge, typically you can apply an AP rate to concierge if there is availability. In regards to bunkbeds, I"m not sure. You might want to use one of the TAs that specialize in Disney and they can tell you for sure. At the AKL I know they don't guarantee savannah view room when booking CL but you can take a room on a lower floor with a savannah view room and still have concierge. We have done this a couple times but the room has not been a deluxe room which means it is smaller.

We didn't find the WL stuffy at all. It was very kid friendly. This last trip we had a 4 year old, a 8 year old and two 9 year olds and they all loved resort. The transportation was wonderful and we had no problems. In fact, my son wanted to have bunkbeds this trip again so we switched from YC to WL. The things we do for our kids...but the deal we got at WL with free dining provided us significant savings over the YC -- so there is always a trade off. But my DS9 is thrilled.
