I am sure this must have been asked and answered already but I cannot seem to find any answers. We are going to WDW in Feb. My soon to be born DS will be around 4 months by then; give or take a week.

Firstly, we are having a stroller dilemna. We have a Maclaren Techno Sport Buggy which is wonderful but I do not want to bring it with us; it was a lot of $$ and I am afraid of it getting lost or stolen. So it comes down to our Baby Trend Snap and Go with his infant car seat or one of the reclining umbrella strollers that I have heard so much about (Combi or Kolcraft). What do you all suggest?????

Second, we are debating between flying and driving down. My parents and sister are driving down (they do every year because my mother will not fly). DH and I have done both. Flying initially sounded easier; but I am worried about the pressure, illness (ie, ear infections). Then if we do fly; should we just have him sit on our laps or pay for a seat for him???? Driving may take longer but I just thought some of these problems would be eliminated. What do you suggest or have done in the past?

Lastly, any suggestions on how to do WDW with a 4 month old? Thanks everyone

Hey, you're in luck, I just returned from a trip with my 4 month old!!!! We did fly, and I did take my expensive Maclaren stroller. What I did, was as we took off, and landed Imade sure he was either drinking from his bottle, or sucking on his pacifier. He had NO problems with the pressure and his ears. We went on many rides and I parked my stroller in the stroller parking and everytime I came back, it was still there. I wanted to take the stroller he was comfortable in. I would also advise buying him a seat for the plane. It's much safer and gives the baby it's own space and yours as well. The baby is much safer in it's own seat, I'm a little nuts about this, so I'm sorry if you disagree with me. We also only toured during the mornings, after lunch, we went back to our hotel for some downtime to let the baby nap well. We definately were back in the room by 8 every night, so I could do his usual night routine so he's go to sleep at his normal time and then sleep!! I'd also suggest taking your own pack'n play. The ones that are provided by Disney don't have the bassinet attachment and the baby is all the way on the bottom, and my son was definately more comfortable in his own. If you have any other questions, please ask.

I too flew with an infant. I also took my own stroller and purchased a seat. I'm nuts on safety too. Plus it is much more comfortable for the baby in the infant seat than on your lap. The bottle and the binky helped with take-off and landing. Delta wil discount the infant's seat to half price. you need to ask for this ... but the seat will be half price of yours.. That is what I did.

I used the crib in the room. Not my choice to buy, but it worked out fine. Did not ask for the pack and play.

Have a great trip and take it easy, don't plan anything or have a schedule.

I reallly appreciate it. I think we have decided if we do fly to definitely buy him his own seat. As for the stroller issue we are still up in the air..... I think we are going to have to wait until it gets closer to make that decision.

The sleeping issue is not as difficult because we are staying at the Dolphin and i believe they have full size cribs; not portacribs or pack and plays. I am going to call to confirm this.

Thanks again for all the info. Wish me luck.
