Are places like Mousesurplus legit?

Found alot of neat stuff on there, but just want to make sure everything is on the up and up (not from stealing guests or CM). Where do they get their resort furniture and stuff?

Mousesurplus, from what I've heard, is a part of Disney. They're auctioning off there older items, or furniture from rooms that've been refurnished.

Thanks!

Cool stuff, just wanted to make sure I wasn't buying from something illegal.

I am not aware that mousesurplus is part of Disney. First I heard that, and could be wrong. But I don't think so.
My understanding is they buy used/surplus items, obviously from Disney.
I bought a WL armoire from them last year.
The last I was in mousesurplus.com, it appeared to be closing down. It was darn near empty and all remaining was should be just thrown away junk, IMO. Much different than when I had been there before. (I have photos of previous visits.)
Maybe they had issues and resolved them and are back at full swing again. :confused3

They are not part of Disney. The previous owner opened another business in CA. Mouse Surplus is under new ownership.

I have seen their tractor trailer on WDW property so I am sure it is legit.
